Silk Flower Creations

When it boils down to say the top 10 wedding expenses, flowers are not at the bottom of the list. That being said, as we review your budget, there is room for cutting in one area to add to another.  Don't let anyone tell you what you have to have, weddings are untraditional, Personalizing your wedding means numbers have a new life and you are calling the shots!

Single Stem Flowers

for those who can't part with real flowers - use single stems of flowers! For example, instead of a whole bouquet for each bridesmaid, you could purchase one bouquet of single stem flowers and have each bridesmaid carry a single flower. Single roses, tulips, and peonies create a delicate and romantic look.

10 Best Wedding Table Decoration Ideas

The finer details include the wedding table decor. We hope to inspire you with our list of 10 best wedding table decoration ideas:

    1. Succulents & Potted Herbs
Succulents may not be the first thing that comes to mind for wedding table décor. But they are popular and why wouldn’t they be? These plants are cute, resilient & low maintenance.  They can add a natural and colorful touch to your wedding table décor. They are sturdy and versatile so even use them as place card holders then wedding favors!
-Guests will love them as they are also good for improving your home’s humidity.
-Succulents are not the only plants you can use to spruce up your wedding table décor. Try potted herbs, especially for spring and summer weddings.
-Group herbs of different smells and sizes. Make sure your scents complement each other and seasons.
. rosemary and lavender for fall and winter
. mint and basil for spring and summer
. mix and match succulents and potted herbs

2. Table Runners

If you want to use more long tables at your wedding, then table runners are a quick and classy way to dress them up! There is such a variety that you can have a specific type of table runner to match your feel and theme. For example:
. Classic cloth with a desired design or pattern (polka dots, bright colors, stripes, tribal, +)
. Lace to add a romantic and soft-touch
. Sequin for a touch of sparkle
. Floral for a beautiful and natural look
. Macrame for a boho-chic theme
We like to say go extremely unique with table runners with photos of the couple or love letters you wrote to each other.

3. P
ersonalized Confetti
What’s a celebration without confetti? Not only can you have personalized wedding confetti for guests to toss but it can also be a glitzy way to decorate the wedding tables. Use colors to match or add to your theme. They can be customized to say “Mr. & Mrs. X” or with touching messages for the couple. And best you don't need to do much, sprinkle them on the table and go!

4. Fruits

Fruits are a great way to add some life and creativity to wedding table décor. By themselves or pair with florals or another traditional décor. As a centerpiece, have a vase of sliced lemon with daisies on top or a wooden crate with apples and berries. Or use pears or apples as place cards.  There are so many ways you can add some “fruitfulness”. Besides, then the guests have a healthy snack to nibble on while they wait for the festivities.

5. Pine Cones

Pine cones are just too adorable not to be used as wedding décor for fall and winter weddings ~ colored wax for all seasons! There are so many ways to use them in centerpieces, place cards, on the wedding cake and bouquets. Using pine codes in your décor is very cost-effective, save them up all year! Add scents to them for sweet or spicy affects. I have an abundance of pine trees, but just visit a craft store!

6. Wooden Look
Want a more rustic or vintage look? Add some wooden crates or wooden slices to achieve this look. Get creative with the slices for stands with different heights that work for both traditional and modern weddings. The wooden look also brings a sense of ease which is what you want.

7. Mason Jars

Don't believe the hype, they are still in style-wise. Wooden slices and mason jars go hand in hand for a rustic wedding look. Mason jars can be centerpieces on their ow or fill them with candles, fruit, flowers, candy, anything else you fancy. For example, I like crystals and feathers!
-Choose a loko, dress them up with ribbons, small flowers, lace, twine or glitter! Add place tags and accents, then guests can empty the contents and use the mason jars for wedding cocktails!

8. Lanterns
-The lighting of your wedding is very important. Add some lanterns to your wedding table décor, they serve as both décor and lighting!
-There are so many styles to accent your wedding theme perfectly. Wooden, gilded, elegant, metallic, photos, art and more. Don’t stick to just candles, fill them with flowers, add color pops. Don’t limit lanterns to the table décor, hang them up, use as aisle markers, place them for a nice glow.

9. Birdcages

Birdcages can be used like lanterns. Fill them with candles or flowers. OR, be adventurous with actual birds! Table numbers could be attached to them or they can store table cards preset for your guests -  "wedding tips for newlyweds".

10. Cupcake and Cake Stands

Not just for cake and cupcakes. Use them as table décor.  The stands help focus attention on centerpieces, flowers, leaves, candles, succulents, fruits, etc. placed on the stands.
